Gregor Witt uses cane from Silvacane with a diameter of 9.50 to 10 mm. After gouging with the Gouging Machine PASSIN, the cane reaches a thickness of 0.56 – 0.58 mm. He then shapes the cane using the Shaper Form WITT. For tying, he uses a 45 mm long Klopfer D11 Staple. After trimming, the tied reeds have a final length of approximately 68.5 mm. The Reeds by Gregor Witt impress with a clear yet rounded sound. They are perfectly matched to Mönnig oboes and provide a reliable playing experience.
